At lunchtime on Monday, the Lions and Tigers and Bears slid their trays along the counter. Mrs. Mudlark's class was at the front of the line. They were talking about animals and clowns. As Luna reached for a milk carton, someone bumped into her. "Sorry," said the girl. "I was practicing my spin." "Why?" asked Luna. She said, "Because I am going to be a dancing lady on a horse in our Family Night circus." Mrs. Mudlark's class was putting on a circus for Family Night! Val's Diary

I have to admit that little house in Greenhill is quite nice. It's yellow and there's a small porch above the front door. there's a little garden all around the house. It's pretty but there isn't a telephone. I lost my temper when I discovered this. "How can I survive without a telephone?" I shouted, red as a beetroot. (I always go red when I get angry!) Dad burst out laughing and Mum said that I could do my holiday homework without any interruptions. Oh, Yeah!

Hi, everyone, how are things? Last weekend, my older brother went back to our hometown to take a exam to become a junior high school teacher. I had not met him for a long time. My family was so happy because we met him and had dinner with him at restaurant. We talked each other a lot. On Tuesday, he return to Yamaguchi to go to university so I'm very sad. I'm looking forward to seeing him next time.
