 "Please find someone quickly. we need a apeaker soon," said Mr. Roberts, the Bayview High principal.
 He was speaking to Mr. Harris, one of the teachers at the school. The school Sports Day was the next week and they had to find someone to give a speeh.
 "Yes, I will. Sports Day is next week," he replied. "We should hurry."
 Mr. Roberts said, "Good, but please hurry. And don't forget."

After reading it, I think this joke is interesting.

 "You can come, can't you?" Jenny asked. "Please?"
 Jenny was talking to her friend, Daniela. "My parents are going away on Saturday, and I don't want to be in the house alone. So would you please come and stay over at my house that night?"
 "I'd love to," replied Daniela. "That would be great. How about Alex? He's coming, isn't he?"
 "Yes, I asked him today. He's not staying at my house, but he's bringing a movie," she said. "We can watch it together." Dniela replied, "That's a wonderful idea."

I thought  that Jenny's friends were kind because they help her to clean the room before her parents came back.

The Old Promise

 Faye and Ryan walked to the front door. "Okay, see you later," she said.
Just then, Don Walsh, Ryan's father, came out of a room. He was walking very quickly to the front door. He was holding many papers and a red box. He was not looking where he was going. He pushed the door open and it hit Faye and she fell down. Mr. Walsh's papers went everywhere.
"Ouch," said Faye.
 Mr. Walsh said, "Be careful, girl! Look where you're going!" He was angry with her.

I read this book, and after raeding it I thought John and Faye did well to help their friend.

The Big Bag Mistake

 Gisela i going home to Rio de Janeiro after a month's vacation in London. She lives in an apertment in Rio with two friends. Her airplane leaves five o'clock. It is one o'clock now. Gisela puts her clothes and a maniscript into a tavel bag. This manuscript is very important to her. She is writing her first book.
 Ricarso is a student. He lives in Rio de Janeiro. After two months in England, he is going home. He finds his seat on the airplane. A pretty girl is sitting in the seat near him.

 After reading this book, I think Gisela is lucky because she can regain her manuscript.
