BR: The Secret Garden

 Nobody seemed to care about Mary. (p.1)


 Mary had no parents because they were dead. She lived with her uncle. His house was old but big and had a beautiful garden. But, there were a lot of secret, for example her uncle loked most of the rooms and he told Mary not to open the door of the flower garden. One day, Mary opened the door, and she knew these secrets.
 i read this book, and thought that mary helped both her uncle and his son to know these secrets. I thought it was good.

BR: Don't Tell Me What To Do

 One morning I left home early. I did not say goodbye to my parents.(p.4)
 Tom was a seventeen years old, and tried to London by hitchhiking. A car stopped for him and a man and a woman were in the car. They were Masters and Shirley. Masters talked friendly with Tom. But, Tom answered the truth with a lie. Tom needed money to come ture his dream, so Masters suggested to work which Tom can get a lot of money.
 I read this book, and i thought that it's dangerous to go with unkown people.

BR: The Stranger

 On Saturday,31st October, 1964, a man arrived in the village. It was late in the evening. ( p. 6)
 
Dave comes to a small village and opens a shop. Everyone in this village likes him. Anna works with Dave in the shop. That summer, some strange visitors come to Dave's shop. Anna thinks it is very strange thing and thinks Dave has a secret.
 I read this book and thisnk Dave has a magical power to come ture the visitors hopes.

BR: L.A.Winners

I was dreaming about Hawaii. I was dreaming about my holiday. (p.4)
 
One day, the man was asked for finding a horse using only one day. The horse's name was Chie and he was recing horse. But he already retired. The horse was stolen by a man. But, there is a problem so the woman, who asked the man, didn’t want to be known who she is by the man.
 I read this book, and I think sorry for the horse because they stole the horse to use bad things.

BR: Just Good Friends

"I know where we can go on holiday!" said Stephany. (p.5)

 Stephany has a boyfriend. His name is Max. And they are planning to go somewhere for their summer vacation. She wants to go to her friend's Carlo's flat in Italy. Stephany and Carlo have been known each other for a long time. But, at first max doesn't like Carlo. And also, Carlo's wife, Ruth doesn't like Stephany. Some trouble happens to the four people.
 I read this book and think that Max and Ruth are sorry because they were betrayed by Stephany and Carlo.

BR: The Elephant Man

He in not beautiful.


A doctor, Treve, found a starange picture near his hospital. He met a man in the picture. The man is bad smell and has a uglay face. And his left hand was beautiful like a woman's. So, the docotr wanted to examine him in the hospital. After that, some unfortunately things happened to them.
 This story was very interesting and fun.

BR: Through the Looking-glass

One thing was certain, it was the black kitten that began it all. ( p. 1)

 Alice scold the black kitten, which was olaying with a roal of wool. She said " if you won't be a good one, I'll put you through into looking-glass". Alice statred to image of the world of glass. And then, she got into the world.
 This story was very interesting. It's because I can feel as if I were in another world.

BR: The Great Gatsby

 My house was on Long Island, near the sea. It stood between two enormous houses that had been built for millionaires. The house on the right of my house had a swimming pool and was surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens. It was Gatsby’s house. And this is Gatsby’s story, but of course, I didn’t know Gatsby then... (p.5)



 Gatsby is a very Rich Man, but nobody knows real him. He hold parties every night and a lot of rich people came to the parties. One day, Nick, who is Gatsby’s neighbor, received an invitation to the party from Gatsby. So Nick went there and meet Gatsby for the first time. Since then they often went to somewhere together, met many people. And many other things happened to them.
 I’ve watched the movie about Gatsby, so I read this book and I could enjoy it.

BR: The Man With No Name

It was a dark night. There was no moon. It was a still night. There was no wind. But Mary Wallace was awake. Why? (p.6)




Mary found a strange plane on her way to the village. Ned Harding also found it. But in the plane, there were no passengers and no crews. Mary an Ned tried to find some clues. After few minutes, they heard a noise from the lavatory. They managed to open its door. And in the lavatory, there was a man, who couldn’ speak and hear. So, they named him “Man With No Name”. But, a few minute later  he was gone.
 This book was a mystery. I read this book and think “Man With No Name” has a key to resolve this strange happning.
